We went there just before 5pm. Had to sit in the bar area. We did not reserve.
However spending over $150. It would of been nice to have a ocean view. Plenty of tables available.
Wife asked if there was bread? Like many restaurants give before dinner?
They brought out. Great bread. That was a upcharge like $3.
Not a problem. It just wood of been nice if told so prior.
Wife ordered filet mignon. Medium, it came out medium rare. They fixed to overdone. OK flavor.
Nice servor. Overall nice place.
Ww still tired 20 percent.
However for $168. We probably will pass next time.
As you can see dining room not many people. It didn't change when we left.
Water view would of been nice.

We loved the Chart Room atmosphere, beautiful view of the ocean. The fish and chips were delicious. The Calamari were a bit tough (like rubber my husband says). The Cesar Salad had about as much croutons as lettuce. I'd get the Fish and Chips. Very nice waitres!

We didn’t have reservations so we ate in the bar. Absolutely delicious!

We were hesitant to go because of the reviews, but it was amazing today. No regrets at all, the Chef did an amazing job on all the good and service was suburb.

We almost didn’t dine here because of some bad reviews. So glad we did! We own a fine dining restaurant and The Chart Room did not disappoint. From my well done martini at the bar to our equally executed rockfish and halibut entrees, everything was tasty and fresh. The service was exceptional and extremely friendly staff. We even bought a couple of logo etched wine glasses to take home to remember our trip to Homer.

Service was great. There was a rather large party whose orders were placed moments ahead of ours, and we had multiple members of the staff check in & apologize for the wait time - something we truly we had no issues with. Still, the kindness was appreciated. The food and drinks were even better - especially after a day of kayaking!

We went for dinner and the food was great as well as the service. Their deserts. Mac & cheese and fish and chips are wonderful.

They did have a limited menu because of staffing issues in the kitchen. I appreciate that they let us know right when we arrived that they only had two kitchen staff and had limited options. They did the responsible thing and cut their menu back so quality wasn't sacrificed.

They also only took on as many guests as they could serve with limited staff. Just make sure you make a reservation, if you just walk in you may have to wait even if you see empty tables.

We've been to another restaurant on our vacation who despite being severely understaffed took on too many guests and didn't change the menu. They should have done like the chart room and managed things better.
