We didn't know that this was not the actual part of the brewery we wanted. It was only after we ordered someone came in and asked about the pizza and found out it was across the way. Alas, we already ordered. The menu is limited and what they make is just ok. The beer is phenomenal, but the food is lacking. We ordered the platter which is $32. The pulled pork sliders were tasty, but the rest of it was just ok. The cheese for the pretzels was gritty, almost like a hummus texture. The ranch/blue cheese was a mix of homemade or watered down store bought. The burger patties and wings were overcooked and stringy/crispy. I get the price since we are in Alaska, but it doesn't truly match up for what you get and the lack of quality. The service was great, but outside of that and the beer, go across the way for pizza.

Just bouffin’ beer was really good for an American beer. I would be ok to drink it everyday.
But the service was poor… we ordered fries to share for 3 persons. Fries arrived with only one plastic fourche and no napkins…
This place’s atmosphere was great and encouraging to stay longer.
I still recommend the place for a quick drink and snack.

Amazing food in such a small town on the highway. The pulled pork is delicious!
You walk in, order your food at the kiosk, and then they bring it out to you, while you enjoy a tasty beer.

This place is great! Really good beer selection, great sandwich (I had the Gulkana on sourdough), and possibly the best cream of chicken soup I’ve ever tried. Friendly staff, even when they were super busy. Will be coming back.

They have a pizza food truck on site. The place was amazing. They had lots of people outside on the patio. Great atmosphere. No dogs allowed.

The food is great and the service is friendly but might need improvement. Last time, from the point of order until the pizza arrived it took 45 minutes. This was despite the fact the restaurant wasn't that crowded. No notice was given when we made the order that things were slow--nor did any come later. And during the wait, there wasn't a single refill on the coffee. I know they can do better.

This brewery came highly recommended, so on our trip from Fairbanks to Valdez, we thought we would stop. My husband had been there 10mo ago and said the pizza was delicious. This time when asked if we had been there , he said yes , and the bartender let us know the whole menu was gone.. and off to the kiosk we went. There was nothing jumping out, but we settled on the sampler platter for $ 32.00. Our drinks were ordered at the bar separately. Which is ridiculous now that it’s a whole separate service. And while I left a tip, I am wondering who I was tipping. Bartender gave two sodas, a cook yelled my name, I picked up my food and cleaned up. Honestly, I would not have thought about that if the food had been anywhere near good. And yes, we ate most of it because we had a long trip ahead, and we were hungry, should have listen to my gut.
We waited a bit for cold beer cheese sliders , pulverized pulled pork sliders, about 10 soggy fries, cold wings and congealed cheese , with pretzels bites that were just the bun quartered. Great in theory” bar bites”, horrible. I had heard great things, never will go back. I will remember now, when people are walking out right before you, it’s time to go.

What a delight. After a day out at Castner Ice Cave we were starving and not wanting another gas station sandwich. This place has good food and tasty beer! Speciality ingredients for pizza, salads, and Sammies. Lovely craft brews.
