Yum! Fantastic meal! Super flavorful. We visited from out of town and for whatever reason did have high food expectations for Anchorage. Our tour guide recommended the Rustic Goat and we were blown away. The Rustic Goat French Onion burger was perhaps the best burger I’ve ever had…and when coupled with their delicious fries—best meal ever. Highly recommend.

Incredible food, great atmosphere, lovely staff. Wonderful service. We loved everything we ordered. Totally worth the wait, because they can be very busy. Highly recommend making a reservation.

I hadn’t been to this place in about 4 years and couldn’t remember how it tasted so I came back to see if it was good. I have to say, this was not the greatest. The service was absolutely phenomenal, but 2/3 dishes we picked were subpar. The flash-fried calamari was mostly batter than squid and it was very dark. It might just be a personal preference but I like thicker squid cuts and a lighter batter (but it had a fantastic remoulade). The caesar salad’s dressing didn’t taste like anything at all so that was a bummer. But the Little Italy Pizza? DIVINE. One of the BEST pizzas I’ve ever had without a doubt. That was the redemption of the entire meal for sure. Prices for everything were also a bit higher than I would’ve expected.

Perfect place to enjoy a coffee or meal providing perfect plates and service for all. Sit at the bar or dine upstairs or enjoy the balcony. The huge window is perfect for the first snow or to see the possibility of a moose walking by. Local or tourist this place is worthy of as many visits as time allows. Lived down the street for two years, perfect to go option. My favorite stop in the morning for coffee, my favorite stop at night for dinner.

Great place for food and drinks. Multiple beers on draft with a nice wine listing. Had the stroganoff and it was very flavorful. Crab dip was delicious as well! Highly recommend this place. It does get busy and parking could be an issue.

Just the place for a late Sunday afternoon drink and dinner in a beautiful, gorgeous building! All our food was great, and the Strawberry Fig salad was out-of-this-world. Aaaand ... big shout out to this restaurant for having a quality 0.5% alcohol beer! Much appreciated!! Friendly excellent service, and we got to sing happy birthday to the chef.

After traveling for 9 days throughout Alaska, we had our last dinner in Anchorage at the Rustic Goat. This was one of of the BEST restaurants we have eaten at. The restaurant came highly recommended and our server. Hana suggested we try the nachos. We were somewhat reluctant to eat nachos being that we are from Texas where nachos are available everywhere. We took Hana’s recommendation and it was fantastic….. nothing compared to what they serve in Texas. If you only have one night in Anchorage, the Rustic Goat should be where you eat. Thanks Hana for making this a wonderful last night in Alaska!!

Fun place, great food (which you can see being prepared), friendly service -- would happily return. Make a reservation! Try the scallops with risotto!! Also try the Alaskan cider while you wait for your table. No complaints. (Ah, well, the prices are high, but it's Alaska.)
