2021- updated with pix only

2020- Its my go to carrs. I get Starbucks daily i love all the girls that work there verne trained them all so i know they are good. I also love the manager at night hes so wonderful. The cashiers are so friendly here its my favorite place to grab groceries, they are open till 1am which has saved me a few times when i need that one thing i forgot lol.

This is what I call "OG Carrs." This is, in my opinion, the best one in town. It's simple and has everything I ever need. I only go to a different one if I have to. I don't even live on the Southside, I live near the airport, and it's worth the drive. This will always hold the best spot in town, and I have made it a mission to visit every grocery store in town.

Waited a really long time back in the meat and cheese department to be waited on. Unfortunately there was only one guy working and he was swamped down at the "ready-to-go" foods. Of corse no one said that lady down there was here before us.

The more you shop the better discounts you get, even with gas rewards. Very competitive n always saving. Great store to be in.

I purchased some fried chicken today and it tasted odd. Later I realized that it was spoiled. The heat lamp was not on which I am not sure was the cause since the chicken was still warm. I'm tired of buying food from here and having it be rotten. I bought seafood on sale in the past which tasted like ammonia. I would rather drive to the one on Abbott even though this is the closest one near me, and I've frequent this location since I was a kid.

I generally use a "5 visit" thing before writing a review. In the past, they've tried to hold me back from leaving despite the fact they checked my receipt, kept me waiting at a self check-out no matter how many times they saw the light blinking and wouldn't sell me a gift card simply because I wouldn't tell them who the gift card was for. Otherwise, I haven't had a hard time finding anything and other employees are actually kind people.
