Quick visit passing through the boat launch on the way to Lake Clark for Bear watching.

We took us 2 hours walked to the end of the beach and back. We saw sea birds, seals and eagles hunting the sea birds. Nice!

Beautiful beach and river, shallow draft boat launch at mid-high tide. Terns, Eagles, Bears occasionally, Moose and of course Seagulls upon Seagulls, hahaha!

Very windy, but worth the short detour on the way to/from Homer. Saw a few bald eagles here... they tend to 'hover' due to the high winds which makes picture taking much easier. This is also the furthest west you can drive in North America (not the most western point in North America, but the furthest drivable point).

I camp here as it's close by to enjoy the weather. Clean sites and maintained.
