Clean parking lot, nice cashier, lots of food choices. Wish they had more steak choices.. I had the best experience today with my cashier 0104-Teresa!! What a lovely lady. She absolutely made my day! God Bless her with the same enthusiasm as she gave me today! She turned my day around!

Expect to pay a dollar or more per item than what you can find at HEB. The produce section is sad, especially the pepper selection. Great beer selection for the area. I only shop here occasionally out of convenience as the quality and diversity of items are generally mediocre.

I visited the pharmacy on this trip to Brookshires. - Before moving back to Carthage, I used CVS for my perscriptions but the CVS in Carthage seemed to not have my meds or the brand they carried wasn't covered by my insurance. I transferred my meds to Brookshires Pharmacy and haven't had any problems since, the staff is very friendly also. The Brookshires Pharmacy does close at 6pm so make sure to schedule pick up before then. As for the store itself, it's always clean and well stocked. We buy all of our Birthday cakes from the bakery there, best cake at a good price.

This is our go to grocery store. Kind and courteous staff. Clean store with fresh produce. Well stocked with what you need. Happy to shop there

I love that this store is here, gives more options to the area. It has some good deals here and there.
The deli is nice if you can catch them open and with meats available. Sometimes I'm disappointed because they sporadically have the nice deli sandwiches and meat selection (specifically turkey or chicken ) sometimes it feels like they could be more prepped.
Employees are nice tho, sometimes the deli ppl like to carry on conversation with other employees and ignore customers.
But mostly it's good.

Brookshires is way more expensive than any other food store in Carthage. I only go if the other stores don't have what I need. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.
