UPDATE TO ORIGINAL 5 STAR REVIEW .
Went back to this restaurant hoping for a repeat 5 star performance. No! It was the most horrible Mexican food you can imagine. Real garbage.. I was so disappointed. Before I had only ordered the breakfast I described below,, but this time we ordered the tamales and the releno. I don't know what has changed, I heard they opened a new location. Maybe the good cooks are over there, but definitely I won't go back to this one! One notch above dog food on the tamales. And they looked old and just not good. The relenos were flat, thin and runny. Ticket was close to 40.00 with tip for 2 people. Waste of money. Just pitiful. What happened?...here's my original review of 5 stars: I stopped in here recently because I'd never tried it. OMG! I was impressed. I ordered the breakfast lovers on the menu and what I got was unbelievable. The plate was huge, more like a round platter as big as a large pizza and it was full of food. Good food!! 2 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 biscuits and gravy, big serving of hash browns. It was all cooked to perfection. Wonderful. I could not eat it all!! I took half of it home. UPDATE: went back with a friend a month later. STILL THE SAME. AWESOME PLACE! WORTH THE DRIVE.

The food was delicious as always. Portions are really nice for their price. I absolutely love the way they cook their chicken.
The option for bottled drinks is really nice.
The workers are very welcoming, nice, and patient. The atmosphere is best described as cozy.

Great variety of food. If you can't eat spicy food they serve breakfast all day and it too is delicious. This particular meal there was a very large, loud crew sitting behind so the atmosphere was not very pleasant, but the family that owns and runs that business are very hard working, honest people! Highly recommend!!!

First the good: we were greeted rather quickly when we entered the restaurant and the food was hot upon arrival. The wait staff were friendly when they made themselves available.

Now the bad. The moment we walked in the door, we saw a young child, maybe 3 years old, running around screaming while another child, maybe 8 years old was chasing after her.
We thought the children belonged to a customer so we decided to dine. Throughout our entire stay, which was around 45 mins, that child screamed and ran amuck. We discovered that the young child belonged to a waitress.

After our food was delivered, we didn't see a waitress again. We had go go to the counter to ask for our check. The waitress holding the screaming child was very short with us when we asked for the check.

For all of the seating that's available, they are very under staffed.

The restaurant needs a good scrubbing from top to bottom.

We will not return.

It was about 11 a.m. but I was really in the mood for breakfast. It just so happens that Laura's serves breakfast all day long. The Denver omelette was not made in a traditional manner but was better than the norm. Our server was professional and cordial. We will be stopping there when we drive through Yellville in the future.

It's gross! The salsa was carbonated and had started to go bad. The quesadilla was made with mozzarella cheese, and the steak, rice, and cheese were not edible.
Lunch was $50 for 3 people and I could only eat 2 bites.
Worst EVER!!!

The food seemed very one note and bland. It tasted like it had been frozen and then microwaved.
The queso was tasty and the tea was fresh.
The people there are very nice and the service was good. I'm hoping that they were just having an off day.
