This place is a great little hole in the wall with quick friendly service..the food is absolutely great, just like mom's home cooking and they always have good fresh ice cold tea to your liken, sweet or unsweet! Great atmosphere and the waitresses are the kindest and welcoming! ????

We waited and waited for our order. They gave two other groups that arrived and ordered after us their meals first. My husband went to check on our order shortly after that. The lady claimed the catfish was hard to fry. The irony was the people that arrived after us and where served before us ordered fish also. Thus, their excuse made no sense.The food was good but not worth going back for due to poor service.

This is a wonderful little snack bar/ restaurant sitting out in the middle of nowhere on US 64.
If you are ever in the area you need to stop and try their delicious food. Home-cooked to order.
You won't be disappointed in the food or the prices. I give them 5 stars because they deserve it. I will stop again

I don't eat here often at all. In fact, I dined-in back in April for the first time in years. It was pretty good. However, one week ago, I called ahead to place an order for my dad and step-mother. When I arrived my order was ready and hot which was great! But if it had not been for my request, my two orders would not have been in one bag to carry. Also, they had the food prepared as if I were dining-in except stuffed into individual brown bags and almost had to carry them like that one on top of the other. Mind you these were fish plates. I am very surprised they were not in a foam to-go box. I still had to drive 15 minutes to my dads and this order was extremely hot to hold on the way. And grease was leaking thru the brown paper bags. My second complaint: it's 2022...why are they NOT accepting debit/credit cards??? I, like 90% of other people in this world pay with a card! Thankfully, my husband had a little cash on him to take care of the order. But it bugged me I needed to borrow money from him for something I wanted to pay for myself. There isn't even an atm except at the nearby gas station and then there's the atm fee so losing money there. So, yeah please consider setting up card pay & putting to-go orders in a foam box.
