Had the fish and it was cooked fresh and piping hot. They had the seasoned fries like I like and the fish were giant meaty pieces. Tartar sauce is very different and good. Giant fountain drinks. Inside looks a little dated, but I don't really go based off looks. If you're super picky about that, it's not the place for you. Price was good also. A 2pc with fries was 6.99 and it was more than I could eat and I eat a lot ????

What can I say? It's Sam's eatery! Great portions. Food is cooked fresh and hot. Actually visited this location on an out of town trip and have to say the portions were better than the one near me! May be why my local one keeps closing down and reopening...IDK...
The server at this one was super sweet and patient with my indecisive family!

Pretty good food in the selection I had. The prices were reasonable. I had a bit of a wait but in all fairness, the girl at the counter was by herself. There are many seafood items on the menu. Also typical southern food choices. It is not fine dining by any definition but good food reasonably priced. I like smaller places that are not part of a chain. This fits the bill. I probably would not make a special trip to get there but if I'm in the are I would eat there again.

Prices seem high but for the food you get... wow it is fantastic. The portions are very generous and we have leftovers for another day. We will be coming back.

Some of the Best fried cat fish. Great portions. Everything season just right.

The food was great, the lady at the front was so nice, but the coke machine tasted terrible and the tea. The girls bathroom was out of order and the building could use some tlc.
