We went here because we had been told by our brother that they had good catfish (as well as other things). The brother was right! Catfish was very good and reasonably priced. We literally walked out of a different catfish place earlier that day because the catfish was way overpriced, but this place was right on with prices.

I also got to try the pulled pork which was good as well!
My sides were good, including the fried okra, the hush puppies were tasting great, and the fries were good.

The fried pickles were a very good appetizer!

I also like the atmosphere. Being a Christian, I loved that they were not afraid to put up Christian decorations.

We are already talking about wanting to go back and try something else, like the ribs.

For a small town restaurant it ok. BBQ not that good. Brisket was tough very chewy. Ribs again ok, pulled pork ok, sides ok. Do go here is your looking for BBQ. Could be great if the had a little smaller menu and they put a little more time in the meat. I think the biggest thing with the meat was. They dusted with seasoning while plating. So every bite had the gritty texture. The meat has to be hot right of the pit if you going to use that method.

This was really good BBQ! ???? Thanks to Chris for the great service. I had the half rack of ribs, potato salad, and baked beans. This was a fantastic meal. Loved the dry rub ribs. They make their own BBQ sauce, and the Texas Bold was my favorite. I'll be back in town for visits, and this will be a must eat at place.

I loved this place! I had the tacos (one pork, two chicken) and they were fabulous. I'll be going back just so I can try other things on the menu.

The service was great - super friendly.

When I go back I'll be taking a jacket, though - it was very cold in there and the ceiling fans were going fast ????

Best ribs I have ever had. The hush puppies are also excellent and cheap enough to get more of them. The sauces are good as well; I love the Kansas Style sauce. The best sauce I've ever had was in Chicago, and the sauce here might be a bit better. Coupled with a tiny bit of the nose-burning sauce, my meal is always perfect. The mac and cheese is good, too; I have had a tough time finding good mac and cheese, but the one here satisfies that craving. 10/10 would recommend.

I was not expecting what we got. The fried pickles was a basket full. Then the pull pork sandwich came out and for 8 bucks, it's a jumbo bun packed with pork and fries. The the fried apple pie was bigger than expected. The waitress asked if i wanted ice cream with it. The ice cream looked homemade and the apple pie seem like it was made that day. We will go back soon. Worth every cent.

Food was really good and tender. The fried green tomatoes had a really good breading on them and were thick. Only thing I wish I has more brisket (only 2 slices) the staff was super friendly and fast even though it was kinda busy. Over it was a good spot to hit up.

If you think this MIGHT be a good idea, you would be incorrect. This Guys is a GREAT idea. My husband and I just happened across it while traveling and we're very impressed. The brisket was some of the best I've had. Melt in your mouth with a beautiful bark and smoke ring. The ladies are polite, prompt, and informative. We are definitely adding this to our "passing through, don't forget to stop" restaurant list!
