While working in the area we asked around and Fat Daddy's BBQ was the choice. Rustic building that fit the landscape and had the smell of a BBQ joint. Everyone has their opinion of BBQ, wet, dry, sauced, seasoned, list goes on and on. A few weeks ago in Memphis, world-famous this and that, must eat blah blah blah. Here none of that walked in and was greeted, the menu is up on the wall and easy to read. I asked for suggestions and many were given but I went 3 meat, potato salad, and cheesy tots. By the time I paid l, got my tea, and sat down food was brought to the table. At the table are 3 sauces, sweet, mild, and mixed. All 3 sauces were good, pulled chicken was moist, good flavor from seasoning that wasn't overpowering, rib cooked perfectly. Bite in and the rest stays on the bone, that is cook right. The brisket was cooked and tasted like brisket should, smoke flavor was on point. Potato salad was a good side choice but the cheesy tots were where it's at. Loaded with cheesy goodness and amazing. Traveling thru I would suggest stopping by for a filling meal and nice relaxing spot for a family meal.

We stopped here on our way back to VA, its attached to a log cabin style gas station but has a clean and private dining area. We ordered a 1/2 smoke chicken dinner with 2 sides: cheesy potatoes and green bean casserole. The chicken was TENDER and delicious. I preferred it without sauce. It had a great cracked pepper taste to it, with the sauce it was too spicy for my taste, the potatoes were delightfully crispy on top with a perfect balance of cheese and the casserole was creamy. Overall a great meal and fast service. It was different for sure [us va folks and all :) ] but yummy and worth the stop.

Stopped here for a late lunch after driving in from Kansas. Huge portions and amazing food for a very reasonable price. We didn't have anything we didn't like. Would definitely stop here again if we come back to the area.

Really friendly staff. The BBQ Burrito was an interesting twist on traditional BBQ fare but it was good. I had it with the pulled pork which was solid. The fries come covered in salt and pepper but it wasn’t overwhelming. Overall really good local spot.

My boyfriend and I stopped here, we both ordered the pulled pork dinner...pulled pork, toast, with two sides. Food came out very fast, which is a plus, but the pork was cold, not warm cold. We both had the Famous baked beans which were ok but not the greatest. I also had the green bean casserole, had a funky taste and salty. He got the cheesy potatoes which were ok. Overall I won't be going back. Prices are reasonable.

Just random times they close. Even when there are customers dining they send customers away. Don't recommend this new ideology that customer doesn't matter..

Really good barbecue! Asked the cashier what was good and he didnt hesitate to give me a recommendation based on my hunger. Food came out extremely quick and was really good! Only downside, using the bathroom there felt like I had just walked into a refrigerator.
