Travel in from Texas and gave this little diner a shot. I was very pleased with the taste, portion size and service. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and made suggestions. We were served quickly and always had a full drink. I would definitely visit. I will say…the ceiling tiles and booth cushions need replacing, but it didn’t take away from my experience.

Went for dinner- the burger ???? was good, roast beef with gravy was inedible, chicken ???? and dumplings was just ok. I think this place has a good reputation for breakfast. May go back to give breakfast a try...

My husband and I went in after fishing, we both ordered plates and an appetizer. As we are waiting the waitress accidentally dropped a couple cups of stuff and proceeded to pick it up off the floor. Wet drinks off the dirty floor. She didn't wash her hands after and proceeded to hand customers their food. When our appetizer came out of kitchen I watched her pick something out of our food with her dirty fingers, throw out whatever was in our food and bring it to us.

While eating, we needed napkins, condiments and refills and we had to get up ourself for the napkins and condiments. Did not get refills when needed. I basically had to choke down my food....
I wouldn't touch most of my meal, as the potatoes smelled and tasted so bad I gaged on them. Smelled like a dirty diaper. Pee pee smell... Maybe burnt boxed potatoes? Picture included. My ham was cold but I ate it as it tasted alright and I was starving.

My husband's plate was okay, fries were okay and he said his sandwich was just okay.

Most of our food was left on the table and NORMALLY we take out leftovers. I feel like I should watch out if I'll be sick in the next couple days.

Waiters were nice but inattentive, and and food was pretty awful, food safety at risk from no hand washing.

We have been here several times and will not be back may have been better off putting our 40$ in the trash and walking out.

Breakfast was exactly what I ordered. I had 3 eggs over easy, hash browns, bacon, and a biscuit and gravy. It is hard to find a place that can make an over easy egg with runny yokes. This place nailed it. Hash browns were crispy. The bacon was home style in the sense there were 4 long thick cuts of bacon. The biscuits and gravy were smothered and good. Our server was fantastic and the price was reasonable. As for the photo it was so yummy there was nothing to take a pic of.

This place is the best! Better than Denny's, Waffle House, IHOP, all of them. Huge portions, low prices, this place will not disappoint! Breakfast, Dinner, Lunch, 24 hours!

Had my burrito remade twice because it was like rock solid almost second time I got one was still hard. It crunched with every bite. Don't believe me? Here's so pictures! Also last time before this my jalapeños poppers were still cold/frozen second time was made right. Have ate here allot just seems like someone cooking is rushing not caring. I gave this place 2 stars because the pie is great but you will wait probably a hour before being able to order it as service is slow they are short staffed and the owner won't hire more servers/workers.

Great food and great service!! After searching for a restaurant on Thanksgivings we found Lucy’s Diner and we were very thankful! Our waitress was new but done very well! All of the food was great the fried green tomatoes were amazing!! I would definitely eat at Lucy’s again and would recommend stopping in if you are passing through or live close..

Always a good dining experience here! Delicious food and great service! My favorite is the ultimate breakfast platter. For 11.49 you get eggs, hash browns, a choice of sausage, ham, or bacon, grits, and either that's or biscuits and gravy. And on one occasion, they even made something that wasn't on the menu for me: an open faced hamburger. They have a nice selection of pies also. Highly recommend this place for diner enthusiasts. Pleasant atmosphere with an old time diner feel.
