My dad and I stopped by and we are glad we did. Steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides were delicious.

Update, I just tried the porksteak and it was great. Homemade yeast rolls too. Consistently puts out fresh, flavorful food.

If I could put a zero star I would. The so called manager is completely rude! She couldn't even stop her conversation long enough to let us know we could seat ourselves. Lost 4 customers today! And trust me they don't look like they can afford to lose customers.

Surprisingly good food, being fairly new to the Pocahontas Arkansas area I am just trying out different restaurants and I was pleasantly surprised with the Catfish plate and the BBQ Salad. The server was informative on the menu and very nice checking on us often.

It was really slow and a bit outdated, but the service and food was very good. Got the BBQ Pork plate with slaw and fried okra. Excellent!

This is a roll up your sleeves, no nonsense put on a bib eatery. In a word fabulous… the brisket was smoked to perfection ..ie…meat-butter that melts in your mouth. Next time I pass through Pocahontas this is my go to place.

Service was terrible. It took three different times to receive the right plate. The second time I received it, my fish was half covered in baked beans(I didn't even order baked beans) and they tried to give it to me anyway. I sent the plate back and they came back with the right order, but the baked beans had just been wiped off of the fish. It was extremely obvious. Order was wrong on half our table.. Couldn't get a refill on drinks at all. We had finally paid and were leaving and someone caught us at the door and said a plate hadn't been paid for in our party. Then said that they had paid for a plate, but it was for a 3 piece fish instead of 2. So they overcharged and wanted us to pay for a 2 piece fish on top of that. I paid just so we could leave. I figured the waitress was upset she didn't get a big tip due to her service and wanted to make sure she got one. Do not recommend.
