Such a great find, whether you are local and live in the Ozark area or traveling down I40 on your way south to Little Rock or heading west to Dallas. Closed Sunday and Monday, so plan for that in your trip. They have the best smoked meats, TOTALLY recommend the smoke chicken salad or the pulled pork sandwich (my favorite). Their sauce-on-the-sides are great too. A mild (which is FULL of flavor) or a hot (great if you like some spice). I’d be remiss if I didn’t insist that you order the Possum Dumplings as a starter. 6 in the order, these smoked pork “meatballs” with a tangy dipping sauce are Da Bomb. I always get them and never regret my decision. Service is wonderful, showcasing what we in the South are proud of-friendly, never-met-a-stranger, southern hospitality. You’ll leave full, happy, with the intent to spread the word cause it’s just that good!

Place worth stopping and eating at they made their own ranch and blur cheese dressing and several others, but I only tried those two. Ranch was my pick, but not an easy one. I did the combo the ribs where myfavoritet.

Great BBQ place tucked down by the Arkansas river in Ozark, Arkansas. We both ordered the brisket salad and it was some of the best brisket I've had plus the salad had lots of blue cheese, pecans, and strawberries!

Everything we had was amazing, tender, and had great flavor. We got their combo plate and an order of nachos. Our sides were sweet potato fries, green beans, salad, and onion rings. All of it was so very tasty. I think it's some of the best BBQ I've had. Great waitress and service in a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

We were seated quickly and the waitress(Destiny) came to take our order in a timely manner. The fried green tomatoes with ranch came out hot and fresh. The entree came out equally as fast and hot! The potato was completely soft, but not burnt. The waitress cut it because my girlfriend and I were sharing. Look at these portion sizes! Definitely one of the best places to eat in Ozark!

Great BBQ! A favorite of ours is the baked potato with brisket or pulled pork. We've eaten there many times and always been pleased. Most recently, we took a couple we hadn't seen in years and visited over an hour after finishing our meal. We never felt rushed and the waitress continued to check on us as needed. Rivertown is always a treat!

Got take out. Sampler platter, ribs , brisket, pulled pork. (They don't have sliced chicken) Ribs were on the thin side ,not much meat, good flavor tho, Brisket was kinda dry, sliced thick but leaning on the dry side. Pulled pork had a odd flavor almost the aftertaste of cracklin, their bbq sauce is deff diffrent, it's got a really good Smoke flavor in it. Would love to try that brisket again when fresh cut .
