Thanks to Cori I stayed. I came here for Shrimp and grits which they no longer serve but I was convinced to stay by Cori the bartender. She was the best part of the experience. The service was great and they food is a B-. Everything very rich needing water after every bite. I tried the crab cakes, broccoli, fried green tomatoes and sweet potato fries. I wanted the garlic mashed potatoes but they only serve them after 4. Overall if I’m in the area again I’ll try other dishes. Big plus with the military discount!!

Seriously it's been months since the bathroom has been in shambles here. I believe we deserve better than this in little rock. The urinal hasn't worked for a month or longer and the stall does not close, there has been chair there to prop it shut for several weeks now and probably much longer than my first visit here. You're kidding me right?! There's no way the general manager or property manager / owner doesn't know about this how can you let this continue? I think we as customers deserve better than this I'm sorry that you don't. Fix it!

Not bad. I just didn't like how some of the food came out on those paper things with the food liner in it like at the fair

Maggiano’s and Olive Garden who? Skinny J’s put both of them to shame with their flavorful and whole chicken breast topped alfredo. 100% worth it. Extra creamy sauce (and enough to take 1/2 home and it not be dry after reheat) plus al dente noodles and a spin on things with sun-dried tomatoes. If I didn’t fill up first on the thinly sliced, beautiful battered and perfectly fried pickle chips (the $4 side version), I’d have eaten all the pasta.

I’m putting this at the end because it was handled well by The Bartender Matt, the first Alfredo was saltier than the pickle chips. I sent for a remake and it was absolute perfection. Still 5 star food even with having to get a remake.

So I have to say, this is another instance where I would rate the service higher than the food. Don't get me wrong, the food was good just not unbelievable. We got various dishes and appetizers and they all had their goods and bads. The service was excellent! The manager I believe was the one who served us.

My one complaint. Please don't charge me extra for sweet potato fries when all I'm getting is Orieda frozen fries heated back up. That was the only unacceptable thing for me.

Got the pimento burger, fried green tomatos, and Ruben eggrolls. Here are my thoughts on Skinny Js.

Burger was solid. A little spicy but I liked it. Only negative was it was a little over cooked.

Fried green tomatos were meh. Not worth the 6 bucks they charge for them. Not much in the world of flavor. 6 bucks for 3 small tomato slices I think is a little steep.

The egg rolls were fantastic. I would order these again. They taste like a Ruben in a eggroll. Exactly what I wanted.

The service was okay. My server was friendly but he basically strait up forgot us after we got our food. I always hate when I can't get a refill on my drink.

The ambiance of the place was just okay. They got a stage but it was full of supplies for the business. My wife called it really tacky and I tend to agree.

Overall try this place it ain't bad. I'll for sure give it another shot.

Today I tried Skinny J’s for the first time. Called in an order: chicken bacon ranch quesadilla with a side of Brussel sprouts. Had to wait a bit on the pick up as this was during the lunch hour. Really nice guy gives me a soda for my wait. I wasn’t expecting service recovery bc they were crowded during this time, but he definitely made sure there were no issues.

Well I get to my desk and the order is a bbq bacon cheeseburger with fries. I’m eating as I type and this burger is really good and the guy was so nice, that I don’t mind the mixup.

I’ll be back some day but I’ll check my order before leaving. :)
