Two dramatic highlights: the pie and the service.
Ordered the Wednesday daily special, ham & beans with cabbage, cornbread, onions, and fried potatoes. It was a filling and "real food" meal. Also ordered the Mississippi Mud Pie and the Possum Pie--which were both out of this world!! Family-like environment made me feel right at home.

We stopped in to give it a try and enjoyed ourselves. The food was good and at a decent price. The staff made the entire family feel welcome and were very attentive. The pie was delicious. We'll be back.

I brought my mother-in-law for lunch today. It was her first time there. We both ordered the Cranberry's Chicken Salad with pecans. It was absolutely delicious. I had the Coconut Pecan pie for dessert while Mom has the Strawberry banana cheese cake. Both were sinfully good. Our waitress was delightful too. I am taking my mother there for lunch on Thursday.????

Great ???? people, great food and the wait staff is nice...the pies are sublime without inflation raising the price...the collection of teapots is a treat to behold...each has a story like Mrs. Pott's to be told...so get down there and enjoy the ???? it's so darn good your tummy will sigh with delight????????

The chili was quite lovely and perfect for a chilly day. It has a stronger tomato base than you will find elsewhere, but that just added to the savory deliciousness of this bowl. We went on Tuesday, so the special was the Taco Salad. My son ordered this. It covers a full sized dinner plate and was mounded high on the plate. It had a wonderful flavor that would tempt any taco lover. My 9 year old daughter is very picky and only wanted a side salad. The lettuce on both the Taco Salad and the side salad was crisp and fresh and so perfect that both children are every single bite and my daughter asked for another side salad to take with her. Now, on to the desserts. We had the strawberry cream cheese pie and the strawberry banana cream cheese pie. Both were simply devine and smooth as butter with crumble and fresh fruit on top.
The prices were extremely affordable and slightly less than we would have paid for value meals at a fast food joint.
All in all a wonderful experience with fantastic staff who stayed on top of things but weren't in your face.
Loved it!

Great local restaurant with daily specials and homemade desserts. Brother had lemon peppered tilapia and said it was very good. I had a burger and fries that was very good. Of course I had to have dessert. Apple pie warmed up was yummy.

A Cafe in small town......but the food and service were top notch! We had chicken and dressing, green beans mashed potatoes and gravy, and a delicious hotroll! So good we ordered another hotroll a piece. Then a piece of pie to top off our meal. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT !!!
