While vacationing we decided to try this mom and pop type restaurant. Let me just say that was a great decision on our part.
The decor was clean and cozy.
Customer service was excellent. The waitress was so sweet and helpful. They kept our drinks full and the table clean.
The wait was not too long after we ordered.
Prices were reasonable, especially for the portions. The chicken fried chicken was excellent. I liked the fries, I wasn’t the biggest fan of the mac & cheese, but it was still good. The possum pie was slap your mama good. If you are in the area this is most definitely a must try.

This spot was great in a greasy dinner kind of way. Pure comfort food that feels like a warm hug. The chicken fried chicken was juicy and well seasoned topped with a thick gravy sauce. The loaded hash browns were sinfully good! Biscuits were soft and fluffy. If you like hot chocolate, get one here! It’s topped with a big dollop of cool whip and chocolate drizzle!

The baseball theme is cute!

Came on a Sunday around 930 and we were seated immediately. When we left at around 10:45 there was a long line!

We are new to the area and we're told about this establishment.
My husband is a baseball fan, and the inside of this restaurant is AMAZING, STAFF IS PHENOMENAL, & THE DESSERTS ARE WHAT DREAMS ARE MADE OF..

I ordered a Reuben with extra sauerkraut. I've always had slices or shaved corned beef on my reubwn sandwich anywhere else. Today, I got my sandwich with thick chunks of corned beef roast. One piece was solid fat. I'm disappointed. If this is extra, I'd hate see what how much kraut they normally put on and trying to take a bite of sandwich to get a mouthful of fat is not a pleasant experience.

The prime rib dinner is the absolute best in the area! Used to go to Royal for it however while thrifting today stopped by the home plate cafe and bakery. You will be taking a doggy box home * wear your thanksgiving pants*

We went here during our vacation to Hot Springs. The dinner was so good that we went back for breakfast before leaving.
My chicken fried steak was hot, seasoned, and delicious. My blue berry pancakes tasted like my grandmother whipped them up in the back. The bacon was crispy and delicious. Also, even though both times were busy, our drinks barely had time to be empty.

Normally the food is excellent. We had been bragging on the cafe to friends and decided to order take out burgers on our way home. The food was a disappointment. The meat tasted boiled and not up to the size and quality we have become accustomed to and the sweet potato fries also were not up to their normal standards. Still great service and we will go back. Not sure what happened

Absolutely, Delicious ????! The ribeye was yummy, and the grilled chicken strawberry salad was great. However, the Possum Pie (Arkansas state pie) was the star of the dinner.
