A wonderful place to shop,and the cashiers are very friendly!the shelves are well stocked and items are easy to locate!They still have a lot of useful items that is only a dollar,which is my favorite aisles to shop from because saving money is so important,especially in these constantly changing times!

Today, I made a stop at the Dollar General in Hamburg, Arkansas on my way home. I feel totally sorry for the managers, checkers, stockers and customers. There is a problem and I don't think all the workers could solve it no matter how long or hard they work. The store is small and it appears they receive entirely too much stock for a store that size. Workers were working diligently putting out stock without much room to put it. Boxes and boxes were blocking the ailses, making it difficult to get to the items or even see some of them. I said to one of the workers that there was so much stock out on the floor and she was very apologetic, stating, "I have to put it somewhere." I got the idea their storeroom was probably stacked to the ceiling (if they even have one). I would like to restate that all the workers were working as fast as they could. They greeted the customers kindly and checked us out very timely and this does not appear to be any of the employee's fault. Upper management the Hamburg Dollar General needs a bigger building or a totally new floor plan (I don't really think this would work) or a large reduction in stock. It is busy and crowded there and getting up and down the ailses was quite a chore! It should be easy to navigate, possibly with some soothing music. The current arrangement does not serve the store well in watching for theives, either. Shoplifters probably love the clutter because it is hard to see what is going on and so difficult for everyone to navigate. Please think about what might be done in order to make this store more inviting. The parking lot is also very busy and dangerous and prime for accidents. Thank you. I hope this store can find a solution to the problems it faces.

The new manager that came from the Fountain Hill Store Is A 5 Star I Have Never Seen That Store So Clean and Not Cluttered !

Dollar General sore number 138 in Hamburg AR is awful..the aisles are cluttered and blocked.there is usually only one cashier...if there even is one attending the registers...items are hard to find and if you find them you have to work around boxes to get to them. The manager is rude and the staff is unfriendly as if they hate working there. I wish the district manager would pay this store a surprise visit.

I like the store. Its handy, clean and recently remodeled. The manager is a little stiff with staff and customers, but other staff are good.

Dollar general is always my favorite store to go into....they r always friendly and have the best prices. Rhe stire is always clean and organized

Staff is very friendly and it was easy to find what I was looking for. This has become one of my favorite places to shop
