The food is average and good. Nothing fancy and nothing you'll write home about.
I had a hamburger and it was OK. I don't think they seasoned it well or at all during cooking. The potato soup was thick and good.
This is a clean restaurant with good service and average food. There's nothing special about it.
Recommended for co-worker lunch with plenty of average options.
Not recommended for evening out with friends.

Just passing through from our trip to Minnesota. So happy my husband found this place. Loved the food... Huge servings... All good no complaints. Wishing we had a black bear diner in Texas.

I should have taken a picture of our omelette before we devoured it. Joe’s Hobo omelette was perfect and the strip hash browns unlike any we’ve had: some crispy, some soft. All delicious.
Service was great. Atmosphere super cute.

We visited the Fayetteville location for brunch. The decor is adorable. The restrooms are very clean. We ordered a kids bear waffle for my 8 year old, The chicken fried steak with eggs and toast for me and chicken and waffles for my husband with home style potatoes. My husbands waffle was light but crisp. The chicken tenders were what you expect chicken tenders to be. The sweet and savory was an excellent combo. My daughter loved her bear pancake. It was super fun and cute. The Chicken fried steak is delicious. The white gravy was peppered just right and was an excellent flavor and consistency. I highly recommend the huckleberry lemonade. It’s sweet but tart. The potatoes were unseasoned and too tough. That disappointed me. The service was awesome. We enjoyed our waitress Blanca very much.

The food was delicious, and the service was spot on. I can't wait to go back and try other menu items. There wasn't one thing on my ridiculously large plates that wasn't near perfect. Usually, there's one weak link, but nope. Thanks to Brenda for the good advice on selection and attentive service. The only missing star was for the music that was on a very short playlist, so we kept hearing the same music. Maybe next time I'll have to put money in the jukebox.

This is your classic diner with excellent food and super friendly service. Our waitress sat down at our table with us and picked out the perfect items on the menu for me and my buddy (it was our first time there so we asked for suggestions). The meat lovers omelet with sweet cream French toast was amazing. The thick cut bacon was outstanding too! My buddy got the biscuits and gravy and said they were the best he's ever had. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

It's nice to see how much this place has improved. The service is excellent, the food hot and delicious with proportions way bigger than your stomach, a to-go box might just be a must. Serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert, this place is bound to have something you'll enjoy.

The atmosphere is too adorable with all the bear-themed decor and gift shop items from the softest plushies to the warmest hoodies and cutest little stickers and accessories.

First time
My wife and I were traveling for business.
Looking for a good breakfast, we came across this place, and boy! Are we glad!
Generous portions, good food, excellent coffee, quick and friendly service. Truly everything one would want in a restaurant. I’m trying to figure out how I can get back to have more; I guess another business trip is in order.
