Chloe, Clarissa, and Morgan were extremely helpful and friendly. I ordered a strawberry banana milkshake which was superb. Watched a very little girl come to the counter and get immediately asked what she needed by 2 different people. A lot of other places someone that small would have been ignored, but it goes to show they care. Would definitely recommend stopping in for a bite any time they are open. They also have a drive thru window.

Really great small town burgers. Really small spot but it reminds me of good ole small town eats. I had the 1/2 pound burger and we ordered some curly fries as well. Everything was tasty and was made to order.

Heading out of town on Hwy 64 West and decided to check out the Diamond for dinner. I come here in the summer for icecream at the drive thru and it is good. Tonight I chose to dine in. It was not crowded when arrived. Two people had just ordered and I stepped right up. There aren't a lot of choices on the menu but I am not crazy about making decisions so that's not a bad thing. I ordered the medium chocolate milkshake and the fish and chips basket. I sat down, got my book out and read. I noticed the two people ahead of me get their food. Mine was delivered to my table, no yelling for me to go to the counter shortly after. I was not impressed by the looks of the square fish sitting on obviously frozen crinkle cut fried nor the red and white paint on the concrete walls so I did not take a picture. I was going to take a bite of the fish first while my taste buds were unaffected. I couldn't, it was too hot. So I went for my shake. People. This is the reason my rating wasn't higher. The straw was too thin. I had to work and work to get the milkshake to come up. It kept collapsing everytime I would pull. When I finally got it to reach the top, food was cool enough I had an ungarnished fry then a bite of fish. The fry was very plain and the fish was fishy. So I dipped the fork in the tarter sauce and took another bite. It was good. Furthermore, it appeared to be real fish. No flakey pushed together or very tasteless stuff. The fries were made for catsup. The portion was great. I was a little more than full. The meal was priced right. I will definately return for the fish if no one opens a Captain Dee's or other fish place. There were no public bathrooms, they bus the tables which should be a good thing but since I didn't and I was busy looking for a restroom and a trashcan, I accidentally left my halfull milkshake, that I was still trying to coax up that straw, sitting on the table. Without it I did notice a fishy aftertaste as I drove on and it was a good flavor.

Ice cream sucked. Really kind of hard to mess up a chocolate milk shake, but they did it was watery and no flavor. We should have taken them back, and the ice cream cones were kinda stale.

This place has been here forever. The burgers are good, but thier boasted chicken is great. Rhe catfish was also really good

Mediocre at best.. they take extremely long to cook the food.. no flavor.. bad customer service and to top it off I ended up with food poisoning.. I definitely do NOT recommend.. 0 stars
