This place was amazing. Kind of in the middle of nowhere but not lol amazing food the service was great and the price was just right. Got lots of food. Would reccomend highly to visit if you have the chance. Worth every bit of the drive.

Carols is a fantastic example of a mom-and-pop restaurant off the beaten path. You can tell that everyone who comes is either a regular or a local. The food is very delicious, they have different things on their specials every day. Their Ruben sandwich is delicious and their taco salad is one of the best specials you’ll find appearing on their rotational special menu. The only thing that is kind of a “turn off” to me, is that they have a salad bar that gets bombarded with flies. I didn’t want that to take away from the 5 star, because their kitchen menu really is delicious and the flies are there because the doors are always opening and closing because of the insane foot traffic. Which is good! The service is also very friendly. There’s two ladies there who are sisters and they’re my favorite. They’re so nice and always very happy to see us come in.

If you're looking for a good hot meal, come to Carol's! I love their burgers & breakfast items & very good prices. I always try to eat here at least once when I'm in town. Really no complaints.

Good customer service. We had Levi was our server friendly and fast service. Food was hot and it all had good flavor. I had the hot beef and my husband had the catfish dinner with ham and bean soup. My husband said the catfish was some of the best he's ever had and the ham and bean soup is the best he's ever had and he won't stop talking about it. Prices were reasonable. Definitely recommend this restaurant!!!

Food is always great! The service is always great! The waitresses and the waiter are close knit and make you feel welcome. I live in Mississippi but I am building in Cherokee Village, and have eaten here at least 3 times a week for awhile. I only have compliments.

This is a bit of a drive for us, but now that we've discovered it we keep trying to find excuses to be in the area.
Each time we've gone, the specials were completely different. And when we've ordered from the specials board, we've absolutely loved the food! Noteworthy was the mushroom soup - absolutely incredible and now I'm on a quest to find a recipe to recreate it myself - not a cream soup with mushrooms in it but a true mushroom soup. Also, the American goulash. I was raised on my mom's version as comfort food, but unfortunately never got her recipe for it, and my sister and I have tried for 30+ years to figure out how she made it. Every other version I ever had was either too sweet or might as well have just used spaghetti noodles or called itself macaroni-in-spaghetti-sauce, So I ordered a small order to go for later. Big mistake, should have done large. I actually cried when I finished it. Sadly, we haven't seen it on the menu board again, but I've been trying yet again to decipher at home what is different from other recipes.
The breakfast choices have been without fail absolutely delicious.
The service is friendly and, even when they are busy, prompt and efficient. Since we always order food to go in addition to our dine-in order whenever we eat at restaurants, some places or servers act inconvenienced or downright rude about that, and some places it has actually caused so much confusion as to make all orders incorrect. This isn't true here. The one incorrect part of any order in the 3 times we've been has been a "did I forget to bring those? I'm so sorry" situation with the veggies on the dine-in order that was remedied in less than a minute.
This is a true hidden treasure. I wish we lived closer.

What a cozy little spot to enjoy the lake view...the staff are wonderful!!! And the pancakes...holy moly...only order 1!!! You gotta try their fries, they are so good!!! I will definitely eat here again when I travel back to see my family. Highly recommend the breakfast ????
