So today was a rainy cool day, what's better to pick the mood up than BBQ. Stopped here at Main Street BBQ.
Ordered sliced brisket sandwich combo,
(THEY HAVE NO BRISKET) What bbq place who's doors are open and cares about selling to the public doesn't have BRISKET? Main Street that's who.
So had to change not only this order but the other orders as well,
Re-ordered pulled pork sandwich
3 meat sampler combo (NO BRISKET) Ribs, chicken and pulled pork.
And a Cheese burger and fries because I couldn't get another BRISKET sandwich.
Opened my container and had potato salad , baked beans ,Texas toast. Small slab (3) ribs , some pulled pork and a ????? Pile of something??? OMG THEY SHREDDED THE CHICKEN!! Why on earth would you do that to the chicken? Pulled pork yes! But chicken? Hell no!!
On with the review,
Potato salad is average for the area,
Baked beans are mid at best.
Texas Toast well its toast
Ribs were good tender and not dry, paired good with their very sweet mild house bbq sauce
Pulled pork was OK was better with a little sauce.
Chicken......... I can't call that chicken..
I've been to hundreds of Bbq places all thru the south and east coast. I have always ordered chicken and gotten sliced chicken. Never until now have I ever gotten Shredded chicken mush. I wouldn't of paid for that if I saw it before I left the restaurant.. some things you just don't do and that chicken is one of them.. I gave them 2 stats because the ribs were good. But no BRISKET and chicken mush.... nope!! Not again!!

Greatest tasting BBQ around. Service exceptional. No way could any of it disappoint. So get on down there and order up!

Excellent hometown BBQ place. The pulled pork sandwich and Tiger fries are excellent. They have brisket available during the week on certain days. It has always been a great experience with a wonderful staff. I will continue to return here for the food and fellowship.

Delicious!!! I ordered the Eye Of The Tiger and it was full of flavor, the smokiness was spot on! I definitely will return.

Delicious and friendly service. They're a little slow so make sure you have plenty of time, but the wait is well worth it! Food is always hot and fresh, friendly servers, and very clean. Definitely recommend!

I gave the food a less than perfect score because the French fries were really greasy. Everything else was fine. Nice people

Drove 45 minutes to eat here. Arrived at 7:11 because they used to close at 8. Then it was 7:30, and now they close at 7pm. Who the heII closes at 7pm?? People don't start getting hungry until about 7-8pm. Terrible management.... If you don't want to run a restaurant and stay open during normal restaurant hours(11-9), then don't open one. Or you can hire a night manager. We won't be back.
