First the atmosphere was very nice. We sat at a table near the bar area and it was lively but not too loud. Our waitress was awesome. Super attentive and accommodating. Highly recommend the meatball appetizer ???? so good. I ordered a filet. It came out cooked perfectly but so salty I couldn't eat it. Or waitresses quickly sent in an offer for a new one. Frustrating to wait but the new one was perfect. Seems the chef can be heavy handed with the finishing salt but he can cook a perfect medium rare! Somebody tell the man! I'll go back.

Exquisite! Our daughter chose River Grille for her wedding reception. Everything was superb! Food, atmosphere and especially the service! The owner, Brenda, was very helpful; given are from Texas and did our planning long distance. Her restaurant and staff offer an extraordinary dining experience! Highly recommend!

My wife and I came here for our anniversary and it didn't disappoint. We had the crab and shrimp dip for an appetizer, and it was spectacular! I had the bison steak, and it was cooked to perfection. We finished our meal with a special cheesecake of the day, and I could have eaten the whole cake if they brought it out! I'f you're looking for a high-end steak place, look no further.

The restaurant is kinda tucked away; I'd never seen it, but I drive near there often. The outside is unassuming, but inside is beautifully done. The ambiance is perfect: decor, lighting, piano, staff. We had drinks, crab dip, a ribeye, the roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, and asparagus - everything was amazing. Natalie was attentive and made our casual date night special.

Went tonight for the first time. I wish I could give more stars. Leland was our waiter and was fantastic. All of his recommendations were spot on. He was very knowledgeable about the wine selection, even explained how one was filtered through sun dried grape skins. I got the Steak Oscar and my wife got the filet and lobster. Both dishes were amazing and cooked perfectly. 10/10 will recommend.

[Update:Aug 2023]
Still a 5 star experience after returning for our 34th wedding anniversary. This time I chose the bone-in ribeye which was absolutely amazing, seared and seasoned perfectly on the outside with a superb medium-rare inside temp. Service and atmosphere remain best in Bentonville IMHO. Our server was polite, efficient, and very engaging. The dinning area is ultra relaxing and I love the comfortable chairs.

Nice atmosphere, excellent service, and the pork chop was so good this place may be my new #1 for a hog chop. Perfectly seasoned, this double chop was thick and cooked consistently throughout with just a little pink in the middle. Would come back just for the chop.

My wife and I were excited to try River Grille for my birthday. The manager and our server were great, which is why we didn't complain. The food was all a let down.

My Ribeye (medium rare) was not flavored aside from the pepper, dry, no char, very rare in the middle and tough.
Wife's prime rib was overcooked and tough not well flavored either.
Our potato wedges were very burnt/extra crispy (I didn't mind, I like burnt potatoes) but they were def not for the liking of most including my wife.
Macaroni was overcooked/burnt and had zero sauce.
Onion rings were huge so some people may like the extra large amount of onion to batter ratio it wasn't our thing.
Mushrooms were okay - according to my wife (I'm not a mushroom guy).
Soup was good flavor - small cup but she ordered a bowl.
Caesar salad was good, but watered down and small for the price.
They did give me a free dessert for my birthday which was very kind.
We both had high hopes from reviews and obviously the premium prices similar to a Ruth Chris or Flemings but sadly it missed the target completely.

If I'm rating this on service, 5 stars.
Value was obviously a 1 star because the food was not good for the higher-end price, so 1 star.
But I am rating on quality and taste of food, so it's a sad 1 star.

Wow! We were looking for a more upscale place to dine for our anniversary, and this place was perfect. The decor is elegant, and the waitstaff was very professional and courteous. Keith was our server and was great! We got the New York Strip 14oz and the Steak Tournedos. They were delicious! The steaks were juicy and cooked perfectly. Amazing flavor. It was a wonderful visit.
