The guy behind the counter was nice. The place was very clean and smelled nice too. They also had my fav beer, leinenkugel sunset wheat. Happy camper here! Through my pictures you will see how nice of a place this is. Thirsty Thursday is tasting day from what I understand.

A nice place and helpful staff Michael I like the guy he's been there I don't know if three-and-a-half years or so but he's very knowledgeable just wish they were open on Sundays

Sitting in the small town of Alpena, Arkansas, the Sundown Liquor Store is a surprisingly rare treat. By chance, I stopped into the store just after 10 a.m. one Thursday morning, and I discovered that the management was already engaged in a wine tasting. This wasn't a paper cup affair. Rather, customers were allowed to taste some of the store's finest wines in glass receptacles. I discovered several wines that I liked, but because it was a cold day soon before the holidays were beginning, I was delighted by he Gluhwein Red Spiced Wine. If you want to experience a bit of a Colorado ski lodge and a lot of Christmas in a wine, try this seasonal treat.

Really nice store! Incredible selection. I drive an hour from Missouri to pick up some stuff we can't get here yet. The owner greeted me with a big smile and a hello. We talked for a couple of minutes then he immediately helped me find what I had come for and helped me carry a few items to my truck. Thank you sir for your kindness and help. I will be back!

This store is a hidden gem. The tequila selection is amazing! The owners and staff were all super friendly. This will be my go to if I pass back through the area.
