I ordered a double bacon burger…definitely the best burger I've ever had, the burger was huge and perfectly cooked as were the onion rings.

A great place to eat a really great hamburger! You have place your order at the window now because of the covid-19. Very friendly and busy place. I think the town got hit by a bad storm. Sorry no pic of my burger, I was hungry! Forgot the pic of the burger & crinkle fries!

Great catfish and onion rings!! Stopped while traveling. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Had the double cheeseburger all the way and fries. The burger was huge and tasty. Will definitely go back if I'm in the area again.

In all my years as a food critic. I have never before seen such a magnificent place. The burgers while greasy are cooked to perfection. the appropriate amount of seasoning. I ordered the salad. OH GOD THE SALAD! Never before have I seen anything like it. I write now from my hospital bed to tell you the years of medical debt I will have after this encounter are all worth it. Go here now and face your destiny.

Dorothy’s Kitchen in Uniontown is the hometown atmosphere you are looking for and the food is some of the south’s best!
Theres nothing fancy about this quaint little place that sits in the blackbelt of Alabama but the fried catfish is stellar and the burgers are the messy kind, and that simply means good! I highly recommend stopping by to grab a bite and saying hello to the owners, they will be glad to have you and might even ask you about your mom and them. There’s nothing quite like small town eats and Dorothy’s Kitchen is one of a kind!

I was in town for a funeral and decided to grab lunch from Dorothy before heading back to work. I'm at loss of words because she truly knows how us Southern people like our food. I had the beef steak, collards, rice n gravy and cornbread. By far ... the BEST meal I've had in a very long time. Will definitely be back!!!
