I paid my bill twice. The app does not show that I had scheduled a payment, so thinking my bill needed to be paid, I made a payment. Two payments were taken out of my bank account and EMC is refusing to help me. I'm disabled, on a fixed income and this means my family won't have food at the end of the month, but they don't care. Trisha never showed any sign of even being human. She never apologized for the issue or made any kind of statements outside speaking to me as if I were a computer as well. She stated that scheduled payments are displayed across the top of the app. This is not true! I looked everywhere. it did not show an indication at all that I had scheduled a payment. She refused to let me speak to the supervisor, stating that they're busy and will call me at their convenience. I said I would go to the office and talk to someone face to face and again was told that they wouldn't talk to me because they're busy. Trisha was insensitive and never showed any sign of humanity. If I had a choice in service providers I would terminate my service with EMC immediately! They do not care about their "members" at all. In an attempt to be responsible, I am being punished. That won't happen again. Also, they randomly started rounding up my bill without my permission but I didn't say anything because it's supposed to help people. I'm going to say something now.

I dont even live in the same region but keep getting neverending spam calls from this company. Even if I did, what kind of business subjects perspective clients to that kind of harassment? Stay away.

Once a year in July my electric bill
Skyrockets to $170 but my monthly bills are never more than $90. This has been happening for years I think the meter reader should be fired!

Terrible customer service. I am a new customer and set up service for A rental property. There was a minuscule bill for the time it was vacant until the tenants moved in and instead of trying to contact me for payment they just sent it to collections so it hit my credit. I then paid immediately and called them saying I was not set up with an online account nor was I contacted regarding the bill and they were super rude and didn’t care in the slightest. As a landlord, I have dealt with a lot of electric companies, and this one has been the worst experience thus far. complete disregard for their customers

This company is a complete joke. They can’t keep the lights on, plain and simple. I have lived in several 3rd world countries that have better service. Who the hell regulates them in this state? They must be paying kickbacks and bribes to keep their contact…clearly no money goes into infrastructure and upgraded equipment to keep the power running. My neighborhood goes out at least twice a month, and when I ask them why they hemm snd haw like blubbering idiots. There is something wrong here, I smell rats.

Baldwin EMC has made it easier to pay your bills late at night or on holidays and weekends with their kiosk one of the drive up and one under the awning in case it's raining. It's very easy and walks you through it. You do have to know a little bit of your own information.

If you need to go inside the women in there are so pleasant with their southern hospitality.

Always willing to help you with any problem application or payment thank you ladies for a job well done each time see you next month

Well where do I begin. I bought a solar panel system from Compass Energy.
It seems that Baldwin EMC through their cross eyed spouses/first cousins at the AL State House Requires a 1,000,000 PLC policy that indemnifies them against "loss of life". Of course, no insurer will issue this policy, which of course is the intent. This is nothing more than codifying this sham to protect them from loss of revenue.

Because of their incompetence in being able to correctly obtain my credit score, which is GOOD. I was forced to pay $385 to change service to my name. I wish Alabama Power were in this area, because they have great customer service and know how to CORRECTLY run information. This seems to be a crooked company out for themselves and nothing more. I am sure this will be very unpleasant to deal with while we live in this area. I do not appreciate being made to look like I have horrible credit.
