Highly recommend eating here. This was my first time visiting here, and I was very impressed with my entire experience. The staff was extremely friendly. The food was so good. I highly recommend their catfish. Being from South Louisiana, I'm very picky about my seafood, and this place delivered quality. I will absolutely return here next time I'm at Logan Martin Lake.

This long-standing establishment is a unique stand-out. When you have a fried seafood or fish craving, come here for satisfaction. You must give the tater-tot looking cheese curds a try. The hush puppies are good as well. Plenty of sauce is brought to the table. The staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable.

Unless you're eating at the Gulf, fried shrimpfrom the Ark is the best tasting and freshest in Alabama. Period. Catfish filets are large with snow white meat throughout. Small town atmosphere with friendly employees. No matter if you're going casual or wearing your Sunday's best, stop by. You'll be glad you did!

Was looking for somewhere good to eat off the highway that wasn't a chain. Came across The Ark and figured if it's been around for 93 years, it HAS to be good and I wasn't wrong! Fried catfish filets were huge and SO good! Also loved the Gumbo!! Service was fast and friendly! Great prices! Would highly recommend to anyone traveling anywhere nearby!!

Everything was great. First off we got a recommendation from a gentleman doing some work for us. We called ahead to confirm they could accommodate a party of 8 including the baby. Straight forward process, had a small wait time, nothing major at all. Our server did an excellent job,kept our drinks full made good small talk. I don't drink sodas but my son do and I like how they served those with a cup of ice and a regular 20oz bottle instead of the machine. Even tho they were short staffed and full they still took care of all their patrons. All of the food was delicious by the way.

We stopped on our way from Alabama to North Carolina. Catfish was great. Shrimp super good. Great friendly service.

Delicious fried catfish and popcorn shrimp. Their hush puppies have a unique shape and are excellent alongside their family ketchup recipe. Their cheesecake is homemade and really great. The waitstaff and manager were all very friendly and welcoming. I will be back!
