It is so hard to find a restaurant that has good food anymore. This was my first time trying this establishment and i usually give a place a second try if the first time is bad. Everyone can have.... an off day. But i don't think this is the case after reading the other reviews. My mac and cheese was bland. No seasoning, just macaroni with yellow coloring. My meatloaf was ground beef mush with a ton of ketchup and some bread crumbs as a binder. The cornbread muffin was hard but at least it wasn't full of sugar aka jiffy mix. Kudos to the cabbage. That along with the cake(boxed and really small compared to other meat and three places) were the only edible items. The service was fast and friendly. I really appreciate that. I understand everyone's taste buds aren't the same but i was not happy. Today was definitely a Monday.????

Potato Salad was not good at all.. Very runny and soupy.. Cabbage had a weird taste. I am a vegetarian and they need to say if the vegetables were cooked with meat. I was disappointed at best. By the way I had the vegetable plate.

The food took forever and was lukewarm. They cook with no seasoning. The green beans came out of a can. The pork chops were undercooked (bleeding). I’d have been happier at Greasy Mac’s. At least there you expect lousy food and lousy service and don’t have to spend fifty bucks to get it. My wife wanted to get a strawberry cake but the server was in too much of a hurry trying to get back to her boyfriend. Our first and last visit…

Mediocre is the keyword for the Front Porch, from the food to the service. You won’t get a bad meal here, nor will you get a great one. Not confirmed but I believe most good is brought in from Wood Fruticher or the likes. Good news is they taste like most of the other meat and threes in this town. Bad news, no culinary excitement. If your in a pinch this is a safe lunchtime stop, otherwise keep looking.

I think i aged 20 years sitting in here for 30 minutes it felt like silent death. Zero life what so ever. . The food just plain no flavor institutional canned food and processed meats no love no nothin ..

IF had any change id make and it minor is use FRESH,LOCAL produce in lieu of canned. Will return many times.

I visited the front porch tonight. The service was good but the food is just not good. I don't understand why country cooking restaurants can't step it up, take pride in the cooking, season the food and just make it truly some good ole' fashion country cooking. I will never visit this place again. Let me add one more thing... Stay away from the MAC & Cheese. I don't like reviewing restaurants but I just had to on this one.
