Off the beaten path but well worth the drive as the fried catfish is so fresh and delicious and the service is friendly and excellent! Highly recommend to hungry drivers in this area! ????

My waitress was friendly, attentive and expeditious. The food order was okay, and the portions were sufficient. Not much menu selection and the deer, hog and moose heads on every wall were a little creepy for a "FISH camp". The coleslaw was excellent (I like it sweet like theirs, and this had lots of onions too). I ordered the 5pc. Catfish platter, a fried oyster platter and fried mushrooms as an appetizer, and lemoncello cake (yum!) for dessert. If you don't like fried foods, you might want to pass on this restaurant. This place was recommended to me by my friend for the catfish dinner.

Rustic settings on the bank of the Tombigee River in the back of nowhere. It is a local gathering place you would never see it from highway. A great experience if you can find it you will enjoy the trip and food.

The food was amazing! The staff was very welcoming and it felt like dining with family!! Thank you Mrs. Mary and Ms. Annabell (you did great) our waitress was in training we were literally her first table and she was very good!

Have been going here since the 1970's. The atmosphere is what brings you there. The fried food is what makes you want to come back. It started as fish camp on the banks of the Tombigbee River. It's changed since it started--they enclosed the back porch. They've expanded it. But, at its heart, it is still a fish camp. Good fried catfish. Wonderful, creamy slaw. Fried dill pickles are a must. Huge glasses of sweet tea. This is a destination. There is probably better catfish around, but it is always good. And the ambiance is unbeatable.

I was there while travelling on business in the mid 1990's and I have never forgotten the place. There was an older lady who was part of the family that owned the place and her and I talked almost forever and she shared stories about her life there. The food was incredible and it was the first time in my life I had fried pickles. I also remember sitting on the porch and watching the Tom Bigbee.

I'm glad to see they are still in business.

I'm writing this review now as someone just a fw moments ago asked me about any interesting restaurants and I remembered Ezell's. My fondest memories were of the lady and her stories but the food was good too.

One of the best restaurants ever!! Food is amazing. The best catfish, hush puppies and slaw. Amazing service!!!

second best catfish i have ever had and only second because my family's is slightly better. Had i had my favorite hot sauce it may have even been better. Service was great.
