I need to be fair, we've been driving since 6am we're hangry. We were craving pizza and decided to start looking for some in our area and ordered ahead. Jasper, AL was the closest place on our route.

We got to Johnny Brusco's, but the street parking was all parked up so we started looking around. Out of the 30 parking spots in Jasper, 25 of them are reserved for a lawfirm. 94% of this town might be a lawyer.

Anyway, after a half marathon, we made it inside. The hostess was very nice and guided us back to the back counter for our pickup order. The worker there was working with another customer, so we waited our turn just taking in the decor/atmosphere.

I heard some mumbling but I didn't think anything of it. I looked up and realized the worker was looking at me. So I'm assuming it was my turn. He mumbled a bit more then returned with our order, handed it off, then turned around without another word, or mumble.

The pizza was really good! We were very pleased. The salad had a lot of inedible bits, like the part of the lettuce that's yellow and brown and made of concrete. But enough ranch can fix anything.

We are from a small town, so we are just poking fun at Jasper, but it really is a nice town. Our food was good and if we are ever in this area again, we would certainly come back. Only real complaint was Mr. Mumbles, but this is meant to be constructive criticism.

The food is always excellent here and it comes in a timely manner! Prices are very decent and the pizza slices are huge. The majority of the staff are always friendly, but they could do a better job with refilling drinks. I'd highly recommend this place.

Most of our table got different pizzas from what they ordered. I asked for a meat pizza with bell peppers, banana peppers, and mushrooms. Got this- no bell peppers, no mushrooms- extra extra jalapeño peppers. It took so long to get it we just tried to eat it. Now off to Walmart for some pepto!

We discovered this restaurant on a road trip by accident, but we are glad we did! While looking for a different place that turned out to be a take-out only joint, we passed Johnny Brusco's while driving through the cute (and bustling) downtown area. We went in, were seated quickly, and waited on immediately, which was impressive with the packed house they had on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered a pepperoni calzone and two 2-slice lunch specials with waters all around for under $30, including tip. It was clean, the wait staff was happy, and the restrooms were in perfect order. Our one complaint is that it was absolutely freezing in the restaurant. It was a chilly Spring day, but the air conditioner was on full blast...so much so that we went out to the car and got a blanket and coats out of our travel bags! I would weather a parka for that kind of service and food, but we can't be the only ones who found the temperature to be way out of whack. Thanks for a great lunch!

New to Walker County area heard about Johnny Brusco's so my husband and I decided to give them a try. They didn't disappoint. The staff very friendly and courteous. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS! We definitely be back.

Wow, what a great experience we had today!

We ordered the Mediterranean Salad and the Johnny Brusco's Italian Pizza. They split the salad for us and they were still huge. It was a meal by itself, but we couldn't let that pizza sit there until it was half gone.

Erica, our server, was very friendly and answered all of our questions quickly and professionally.

Me and my girlfriend had a date night tonight and decided to go here. Emma was our waitress. She had a lot of tables, but still checked on us and made sure we were doing good and had whatever we asked for. Wes the manager was also coming by and making sure everything was satisfactory. The food was amazing and the staff was doing a great job. If you're ever in the area, I recommend you give them a shot. You won't be disappointed

Wonderful atmosphere! The staff is friendly without being bothersome. The food----WOW! SO DELICIOUS and plated up so pretty! The prices are very reasonable. The servings are so generous that I had to get 2 "to go" boxes. I couldn't finish the main course or desert I was so full! I HIGHLY recommend this Johnny Bruscoe's to everyone in the Walker County & surrounding area.
