We celebrated my mother's birthday here on yesterday, and we were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food? I wasn't able to enjoy mine because I enjoy bland food, however my family really enjoyed there food and themselves as well. Thank you to the staff for not only your friendliness but you were professional as well. Nice family spot for seafood lovers. Also the crab claws are to die for, figuratively speaking of course, before my diet changed they were my favorite. Definitely recommend.

No frills, wonderful southern fried seafood! Best fried crab claws in Mobile area imo! Been coming for years and it still holds up! Service is southern hospitality at its finest. Don't expect a fancy atmosphere. It's clean, comfortable and what I'd expect for a local seafood joint I. The middle of no where. Well worth the Trek!

This place was recommended to us by some of the locals and we weren't disappointed! Pretty standard, down home style seafood place, but everything was delicious and our server was extremely friendly! We just missed the lunch rush so getting in was no trouble, the place was much bigger than it looks when you first walk in. Between our party of 6, we tried a good variety of the menu and the only thing I would skip on another visit would be the gumbo, it was kind of bland.

Where to begin? Well, first I've ordered food from here several times because their fried fish is actually pretty good, but that's about it. Today we ordered fish, cheese burgers and sides. The cheese burgers and fries were soggy and actually made my son sick. My daughter said she'd rather of had a burger from McDonald's. She actually hates McDonald's and only eats their fries. I got the fried fish, which I really do like. But my complaint is that, when I ordered I specifically asked the lady on the phone if their potato salad had relish or pickles in it and she told me no. But when I received it and opened it, u can clearly see that it does. So unfortunately, out of two appetizers and 3 meals with sides, only my fish and the baked potato will be eaten. So I pretty much wasted $45. I don't know if we just happened to choose a bad day to order, or if the items are usually this awful. I know I'll be back to order their fish again, but I definitely don't recommend anything else.

Great food! It's a very casual, laid-back atmosphere. The food is delicious! We've been several times, and it has always been so good. The crab claws are one of my favs!! My husband loves their fried oyster, shrimp, and crab claws.
Definitely worth the drive!

Cute interior. Amazing service. Delicious, fresh food. Visiting Lighthouse Restaurant was a joy! My mom and I came down from Nashville, Tennessee and the fried shrimp was outstanding. I got the PoBoy and my mom got their Shrimp platter. Their pickle chips were SO fresh!!! It was obvious they maintain their fryer in perfect condition because the pickle chips were crisp, bright, and only left tiny speckles of oil on the plate when we were done. Even the ranch was out of this world! Definitely putting a bookmark in this favorite for future visits. You rock, Lighthouse Restaurant! PS. Affordable too.

The Lighthouse used to be good but lately they have cut way back on the portions and the quality isn’t good. Cold soggy fries and barely enough for a small child. The shrimp poboy is a lot smaller than it used to be too. And they got my order wrong.

We stopped here for lunch with a group of 6. Seafood gumbo was a 4. Good but needed a little more kick.

The Buttered beans are a 5+
Cauliflower casserole was excellent but I'll give it a 4 because it was kinda cold.

Mac and Cheese. Giving that a 3. Cold and bland.

Fried chicken was good. Definitely order the breast upgrade. I'll give the breast a 5 but the leg and thigh a 4.

Service was excellent. 5
