Stopped just to get a pork sandwich for a snack. Was really happy with the flavor and the unique sauce they had. Would love to try a full meal sometime.

Place is a decrepit backwater trailer trash joint, food is horrible, probally decent if you comparing it to the rest of the food on the "town" if you can call it that, can't wait for the day a bypass is created.

Stopped in for lunch one day driving through town. Ordered a large barbecue sandwich with fries. My order came out and it was fries covered it barbecue with cheese and barbecue sauce.

Food was great, barbecue had good flavor. Homemade barbecue sauce was fantastic. I'm assuming the owner apologized for bringing out the wrong thing, but was A OK with me. Food was delicious. I will be back for sure.

One worker. Ceiling tiles falling in. Dirty store. Food was fair at best. This one is a last resort if other options are closed.

This is one of those small town secrets that hits the nail on the head. Jim n Nix does not come close to the flavors in this joint. The dine in area itself is a very small space, but when the food arrives, I forget about it. The BBQ is perfectly smoked and the sauce is the best I've ever had. The sides are great. I love ordering the BBQ baked potato. As an appetizer the BBQ fries are out of this world. Negatives would be the bathrooms & need for remodeling in the dining area but because the food is so amazing I can't give anything but 5 stars.

Sat across the road working in my car for about twenty minutes looking at, and smelling, this place (smelled great). Finally drive over at about 6:55. There were four employees inside. At I drove in, one of them saw me and quickly turned off the "Open" sign. I sat there for a few minutes dumbfounded, thinking, "That's horrible for business." Them I came on Google to see they're open til 8pm. So I decided to walk up--the smoker was still going. The door was unlocked, so I walked in. When the lady came out to the counter, she said, "we're closed." I told her Google said they closed at 8, and she responded, "Well, I guess Google is wrong," then laughed and said, "I'm not online like I should be. I probably shouldn't hang up on them" (referring to Google?) This is a town with nothing in it anyway. You people ought to learn how to take care of customers. Wow.
