Stove top stuffing dressing and $8.00 banana pudding. It's better than McDonald's but not good enough the claim soul food. Not black folks soul food anyway.

This was my first time in the restaurant. The place needs a lot of improvement. The is no air-conditioning, soda machine had a lot of out of order notices. The owner really need to take pride in the decor and hire people who can keep restaurant clean. It was very uncomfortable eating food while much food was on the floor. The food is standard and is not as good as expected. Will never return.

So good with great friendly customer service! I ordered two vegetables plates. The cabbage, yams, Mac &chz, black eyed peas, and creamed corn were my favorites. My least favorite was the pinto beans and the collard greens were just ok. Unfortunately they were out of banana pudding (cold). The peach cobbler was unique in that it was served sliced crust pieces. I would have preferred the traditional peach cobbler with lots of crust. The sweet tea was very good.

Southern homemade cooking. Excellent choices. Excellent service. Heavy on the seasoning. Great portion for the money.

My biggest issue is that is sooo hard to eat soul food properly with disposable forks spoons and knives and they had the cheapest ones they could find. The food was good but i almost gave a zero star just because i was told i was buying catfish and they are actually serving Swai.....i know the difference and to me this is a no no. But the rest of the food was really good the cornbread and steamed cabbage was amazing. But just tell your customers what they are eating please.

Delicious ???? food . Worth the wait in line. I go at least 6 times a month. Never disappointed. Food always hot fresh and definitely soul food at it's best!!!!

me and a friend went in for an interview they were needing 2 people they called my friend several times I got no call although very qualified for the job having worked in the food industry over 30 years. I would've been the only white employee. I feel like that would be discrimination. what would you think?

The staff was nice but the food was subpar. My cornbread was burned on the bottom, the Mac and cheese has no flavor and the field peas were super salty. I was so disappointed.
