This is an excellent Italian restaurant with an exceptional good and moderately priced wine list. Best lasagna I’ve ever had. The Caesar salad was also delicious with a wonderful delicate homemade dressing. Service was good and the place was already packed by 6 pm. Make reservations.

My husband and I dined here for the first time tonight and WOW, we were SO thrilled. Service was amazing (Amyra was our server), atmosphere was great and the food…….I can’t say enough about how delicious the food was!!!! And very reasonably priced for the quality and amount of food. We will most certainly be back! Thank you for a perfect “date night” in Alex City!!!

Phenomenal experience. We had a long day, meant to get here earlier than we did but ended up walking in 30 minutes before close. I’ve been to some places who seem to be annoyed by people coming in late but here, we were welcomed with a smile.
Adam was our server and he was attentive but not overbearing, we never felt rushed. We forgot to order our appetizer and when we realized we let him know and it was out on the fly. We made the mistake and he made it like it never even happened.
The portions were HUGE. You could easily share one entree with 2-3 people. The Caesar salad was one of the best I’ve ever had.
I loved how the chef came out and checked on all of the tables. He was extremely friendly you could tell he loved what he does.
I would not hesitate to go back and would highly recommend it to anyone. Whether you’re going on a first date, an anniversary, birthday, or just a random dinner, you need to try this place out.
Food and service 10/10.

(Edited) Our first experience here was not the best. The food was wonderful, but they had a large party that got a bit out of hand and ruined the atmosphere. The owner invited us back to give them a second chance, and I'm very glad we accepted. The food was even better than the first time, and the service was impeccable. Truly a fine dining experience. The steak was perfect, and the homemade Caesar dressing was awesome. This was for their Father's Day special event, and as a result I highly recommend their special events, too. We will definitely be back.

Castelluccio is an all around amazing restaurant! The staff is friendly and accommodating, the owners are sweet, and the food is perfect.
Meals are made to order and are generous portions. I highly recommend their risotto or alfredo dishes.
The drinks include great Italian wines (no duh) and an eclectic range of cocktails along with Italian and domestic beer.
This is a one of a kind place and only adds to Alex City/ the Lake Martin area's quality of life.
Make sure to make a reservation ahead of Friday or Saturday night because this is one of the best places to be. Treat yourself the next time you're in the area.

Wow what a gem in beautiful downtown Alex City! We were greatly impressed with the manager, our waiter and of course, the delicious food! Finding a quaint Italian restaurant with a caring staff, outstanding food and extra charm is so rare that when we find it, it becomes an experience instead of just another meal out. Thank you Alison, Crayton and the talented chef for spoiling us tonight!
