It was okay.
Full review:
My husband and I ate dinner at Giovanni's Pizza on Saturday, 8/12/23 around 6pm. The parking was adequate. The location was handicap and wheelchair accessible. The restaurant was busy and crowded. Several tables had not been bussed or cleaned, so we picked one that had been bussed and we cleaned it with hand wipes. (I think the staff noticed and called the busboy to clear tables.) The staff was friendly and the service was fast. However, the cashier was easily distracted and moved on to other customers without giving me my receipt (that I requested). The pizza was okay; nothing to write home about. The cheesecake was odd. It had a sponge cake bottom instead of the traditional graham cracker crust. The limoncello Italian cake was good. The pizza price was good, but the cake slices were expensive. One cake slice cost about as much as our small pizza. Overall, the experience wasn't bad. I would try this restaurant again if I'm ever in the area again.

Very delightful restaurant. I felt comfortable and welcomed ????. I ordered Salmon and grilled shrimp ????. The shrimp I sent back and it just wasn't right??? Chewy. The Salmon was delicious over rice/ veggies mix ????. My wait staff was pleasant and professional. I ordered strawberry cheese cake to go.

Oh my goodness, how good was this?? Even their ravioli is fantastic! Look how hearty that stromboli is! And dessert wasn't photographed because I was too busy protecting it from everyone else at the table!! I had the baklava! And as a little Greek lady, I was quite pleased with it! Thank you Giovanni's!

Service was fantastic, but my shrimp scampi wasn't anything to brag about...the noodles tasted fishy and the shrimp looked just plain gross. My grandmothers hamburger steak was delicious, good thing she eats like a bird bc It meant I could finish it.

The service is really outstanding and the food is really good and the portion sizes are really big. We were a party of 3 and selected different items. The Tour of Italy was the best. Wine and beer are served. We were too full for any dessert.

The wait person was really friendly, professional, and checked frequently with us.

I used to love going here . I have moved out of the state since the last time I ate here. But I would highly recommend people that go here to try the fried mushrooms & the gyros. Make sure you get a couple of bowls of the cucumber sauce that comes with the gyros , it's too die for . I love the sauce with the fried mushrooms as well .

waitress was more interested in complaining that several guests were coming in at shift swap than taking care of customers needs. Then was rude about our orders because we usually do the bar and it was to late so it was taking a minute to look at the menu. Actually complained because I took a moment to look at my phone. Which I was looking to see what people suggested to order.

First time eating here and i have absolutely nothing bad to say about the waitress's but the owner is rude and unapologetic. They started getting kinda busy as we sat there so things moved a little slow and we waited a while on our food but we understand. Its not fast food and the place was far from empty. The real problem started when we got our food. My mother in laws food was cold. We all three ordered meatballs with our food and they came out and only one of the meatballs was done. I said something to the waitress and she agreed when she seen what we was talking about because they were red enough that they didnt have a done texture. We did not want it taken off the ticket, we wanted it fixed. She brought some more out and once again one was done, one was pink ish and one was RAW. As a cook myself i know how DONE meatballs taste and look. So when the owner tried to come to my table and say that they ARE done and we are basically mistaken, is what rubbed the wrong way. We do not eat medium well steaks or hamburgers so we do not eat medium well done meatballs. The sauce WILL dye the meatballs on the outside to a certain point but all of the done meatballs had a done texture and the inside was brown. The point is that the owner tried to tell us it was not under cooked but the waitress even noticed the difference when we showed her. Staff coming to us to apologize and the owner wanted to act like we are wrong. guess what? Thats not professional. We spent over 70 dollars in there and Just wanted the meatballs fixed, we was not trying to get anything for free but that is how she acted. i took plenty of photos so im leaving this here for anyone that doesn't know how rude and unprofessional the owner is. All that and we still gave our waitress a tip because none of it was on her.
*Here is a photo with both a cooked meatball and a raw one. If it was all the way done it would not have been a completely different texture and color.
