The prices are great for the area, but you get what you pay for. The hollandaise on the eggs Benedict was the consistency of yogurt. The hashbrowns were raw even though we asked for crispy. Food came fast, but we never saw the server again after the food came. We were seated as soon as we walked in but noone came to offer drinks or anything for 15+ minutes. The busboy pushed is way through the customers while yelling, 'I'm working here!' We will not be returning!

I said I would keep trying fried halibut until I found some that was as good as everyone said. Tonight I did.

I stopped here for some late morning breakfast/lunch after skipping breakfast to get on the road quicker in Denali. Overall, great food, not very expensive, very kind staff. The service was a bit slow, but it was understandable, as they had a hiring sign on the door and it was a crowded day. Our server was very kind about the delay. Nice place!

New to the area and I love this place. So far I have had the Gyro on a whim and a couple 3 egg breakfasts which were very well made and tasty. Comfort, through and through. Service is good had one waitress who skimped us on coffee when it wasn't busy - but it's hardly worth mentioning... it WASN'T Alisa, that's for sure!!
...Just that keeping coffee full is just as important as chatting to your favorite people at the counter. Still tipped her five, even though my dad and I are no hassle patrons, I know we'll be back!

I got the chicken fried steak with soup and side. The soup was a traditional Russian soup called borscht. Mainly beets hence the red color you get. It was delicious! The atmosphere was great and so was the service. I felt welcomed and very comfortable at this restaurant.

Me and my family are visiting other family in Alaska and decided to stop by. It was AWSOME it was a great experience, the meals could easily be shared by two people, it’s affordable, the food tasted amazing and was hot, service was great they were right on top of everything. We will definitely be going back!

The meat on the Hot turkey sandwich was stale, dry and not palatable. Could not eat it. When I complained I was told it is Boars Head meat, the best there is and they would not remove it from the ticket. Maybe the meat is the best but storing
and preparing it was not the best. Sorry Mat-Su family resteraunt, you lost a customer who ate there 2 or 3 times a week.
Serving old, stale and ilprepared food is not my cup of tea and we will go elsewhere.

I’m an Alaskan and have ate here a lot with my partner. But tonight 7/16/2023 Sunday we can thru @8:27pm , they close at 9pm. They said if were closing in 15-20 minutes if you want I can fix you something quick to go. I looked at my watch and it said 8:27pm. What we couldn’t sit down to eat for the last 33 minutes they were open! We walked out. Before a car load of people could get out and come in, the cook came out behind us and told them they were closing and didn’t even offer food to go! Wow!! Never had terrible service from here like this! Won’t be coming back ever, you just lost a regular customer because your employees want to go home early.
