Welcome to the lifeline of the North Slope! Like in days of old, the General store is the place to go for all your needs! Here you can find clothes, food, tobacco, souvenirs, books. This is the supply depot, this is the place to go.

Ok, so they have a monopoly on the gift shop market here, but where else can you buy stickers, Alaska shaped hunks of very thick metal, -40 degree overalls, boots and snacks and also mail a letter? All right, it's Alaska, so perhaps there are other places you can, but if you made the trip to Prudhoe Bay, stop here! Oh, don't forget to "Remove Spiked Foot Wear, Thank You".

This place is really cool. If you're ever up that way I believe you are there for one reason. Cool gift shop up stairs. Friendly staff.

Definitely stop here to officially finish your journey on the Dalton Highway. It don't count if you don't. Some souvenirs here you will want to get I mean c mon you fricken made it to the artic Ocean! Also has other stuff you may be looking for here as well probably no where to be found for 100s of miles like lip balm etc.

What do you even say about a place like this? Truly unique spot, obviously due to its location. There was a shocking selection of things throughout. Very interesting to just walk around. Staff was friendly as well. I guess I expected a bunch of gruff oil workers. Not here. Required reading while in Deadhorse!

I’m just a tourist, so the first floor of tools and parts didn’t interest me (however having been a mechanic I could quickly see they have about anything). The gift shop on the second floor was incredible. Every type of “Prudhoe Bay/Deadhorse” t-shirts, hoodies, caps, mugs, magnets, and so much more! The staff were friendly, and gave me directions to several other locations I was looking for.

I think it's the only general store up here. Upstairs it's a little bit of gift shop, drug store (no pharmacy), clothing and some sporting goods. Down stairs is a Napa and the post office.

The North Pole, I saw Santa he was so cool. Reminded me of my Uncle Jake kinda. Came during the winter there was plenty of snow. The general store has all the materials you need whether it be ice climbing materials,food, winter coats, skis; etc. Was extremely helpful glad I could stop here during my trip.
