Staff is friendly and helpful. Shop is fully equipped with anything you may need for your trip. Surprisingly, prices aren't too high.

Good general store for not just the residents of King Salmon and Naknek, but a valuable store for people traveling to Katmai National Park. The store is just down a couple of blocks from the airport terminal. Pricey due to shipping costs, labor, and high cost of electricity. Good selection of many popular items, especially those you might need before beginning your adventures into the wild.

Bush grocery store. They have a decent selection. Separate liquor store has a small selection of booze. Prices are sky high with many items costing double or triple of what they cost in Anchorage (or online). The deli is usually terrible, if it's even available. Also, be prepared to be treated like a second class citizen by whatever staff is on hand. Have had items deliberately left out of of my bags, only to be told they are missing when I go back. Also have the eagle eye the cashier who likes to charge full price for clearly marked, discounted items. Have also had the door locked in my face while trying to enter 10 to 15 minutes before closing time. One of the worst AC stores in Alaska.

New managers have done an excellent job upgrading and updating this Bush store. More selection, items usually stocked. It's the best I have ever seen this store. Liquor store has a great selection considering where we are.
